including the surveys conducted once a year or more often and the economic censuses.
The report also describes data products that include manufacturing statistics among others, and it describes other demographic and economic programs, foreign trade, for example, that might be of use to manufacturers in marketing, site location, and other activities. The report includes several brief use illustrations and shows how the data can be used via computer and otherwise. It concludes with telephone contact lists.

Subject content-Includes a description of the principal products and services published in the 1992 Census of Manufactures and 1992 Census of Mineral Industries. The seven-digit products and services are generally arrayed in ascending numerical/alphabetical sequence code order within their respective five-digiet product classes, the product classes in order within their four-digit industries, and the industries within their two-digit major groups.
This list contains descriptions of the more than 6,300 products collected in the 1992 Census of Manufactures and Census of Mineral Industries. In addition, it includes the approximately 4,500 products for which information is collected monthly, quarterly, or annually in the Bureau's Current Industrial Reports (CIR) program.
