The Nikkei Weekly is published every Monday, minus one issue in January, by Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Inc. This excellent resource has a number of worthwhile assets other than being the only Japanese English-language newspaper. (Nikkei Weekly articles originate in English or are translated from Nikkei's Japanese newspapers.) Usually, a summary is given at the beginning of each separate division (economics, politics, etc.). The front page provides a succinct summary of business activities in the Far East in the first two columns. The paper covers a broad spectrum of topics:
